It’s really about passion – linking what we are passionate about delivering to what our customers are passionate about getting.
We started Strategic Consulting Associates primarily because we found a passion for getting so involved in customer’s problems and issues that as far as we are concerned they are our problems as well. That’s what we mean by “partnering with our customers”. By partnering in this way we help unlock value not easily seen during the course of everyday turmoil.
We have always felt a great deal of pride in the operational management experience of our consultants. We think of ourselves primarily as “practitioners” that bring a balance of experience as well as a keen ability to think creatively about the unique nature of each problem our customer’s bring to us. We do not think we have an instant answer to every business problem presented to us. We do, however, strongly believe in our abilities to use facts as the basis for all our problem solving efforts and then use these facts to come up with insightful, creative solutions.
Of the many principles we have discussed that guide the direction of our company, those that involve our reputation are the most important. Because of our operational management backgrounds, we all have experiences with consulting companies that put their interests first – they sell what the customer does not need – and we committed ourselves to operating differently. To that end, our first guiding principle is that our customer’s interests are our interests. As long as we faithfully serve this principle we know we will thrive as well.
Finally, we are passionate about the profession of consulting. We believe in the value of the services we provide and the results of our work. Our beliefs are so strong that all our consultants must commit to these principles. In return we are committed to our consultants as employees of SCA. We are just as passionate about them as we are about our customers. Together we make a difference.
